This ale is brewed using mineral water drawn from the artesian well deep beneath the Shepherd Neame brewery. It is heated and combined with crushed Pale and Crystal malts at the very start of the brewing process. The Fuggles, Mandarina and Citra hops used, produce a delicious bittersweet, citrus orange flavour to this medium bodied ale. It is a refreshing, balanced, clean beer. Enjoy lightly chilled.

Bottle from Sainsbury's Supermarket, Salford. Golden with a head. As a citrus brew it's quite low on citric bitterness with some understated orange fruit available.

500ml bottle. Golden in colour, with a rocky, white, head and plenty of carbonation. sweet, lemon and tangerine character, a mineral edge, ripe malts and a gentle bitter finish. Ok.

[50cl bottle from Sainsbury's, Bracknell.] A clear pale amber pour with a trace of white head and some gentle carbonation; typical Shep yeasty aroma; some citrus bite to start, then sweet with orange and tangerine flavours. Rather flabby and unexciting.
