Bottle @ Johns, Århus newyear tasting. Pours dark brown with a fading offwhite head. Aroma of malt, licorice, loads of x-mas spice. Flavor is very sweet and spicy with malt, xmas spice, licorice, cookies. Thin body, average carbonation. To spicy for me. 291213

Bottle from Voldby Købmandsgaard, shared with Niller (Baltazar 2013 7.2%) - pours amber copper colour with no head at all. Aroma and taste is stale vegetable and slight aniseed, peculiar malt character, very watery in body, just overall really bad and was a drain pour for both of us. (Note: saw existing 2013 reviews already here, so added here, not sure if any admin may want to move to a 2013 seperate beer due to abv or not?, may drive 2012 rating down)
