Cask at Grapes Hotel, Maentwrog. Lightly hazy pale amber. Fruity nose with slight hay-like hops. Light bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Mild hay-like hops transitions into a lightly resiny bitterness. Standard bitter.

Nice hoppy aroma with a slight hint of black pepper. Full flavor, refreshing and tasty. Nice example of the style.

Cask@GBBF2008. Orangeish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wood, yeast and very mild notes of vegetables. Flavour is about the same, yet making a quite nice balanced and drinkable beer of it.

(Cask at GBBF, London, 6 Aug 2008) Pale amber colour with brief, white head. Fruity, malty nose with apricots and orange. Fruity taste with notes of apricots and biscuity malt. Fairly low bitterness, body below medium. Hardly exciting, but still a decent bitter.
