Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014 - Red Session. Pours clear amber-gold with a tan foam topping. Big cedar aroma - with little else. Medium to heavy sweet flavour, with strong and drying cedar wood, light honey, some bread, toffee, grass. Medium to full in body with fine carbonation. Warming and sticky in the finish, with continuing heavy cedar. The cedar really lingers, too. A bit too much cedar character, really.

A reddish beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of cedar wood,spices, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of cedar wood, caramel, and fruits, leading to a tart finish.

From tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Dark amber color with off white head. Malty aroma, caramel, licorice, fruity, dark dried fruits, spicy, wood. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma, light alcohol too. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Draught at CBC 2014. Copper liquid with a medium off-white head. Aroma of raw sugar, citrus, tangerine, caramel and bread. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of raw sugar, toffee and citrus. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice.

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass copper colored, nice head. Fiery malty aroma. Starts fiery, strong, intense malty, warming, not too roasty. Alcoholic notes are not too intense. Warming-malty finish, light hints of caramel. Nice!

Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, red session. 03/05/2014. Rich red / amber coloured pour with a thin cream coloured head. Aroma is spicey tree sap, wood, cedar, nutty / caramel malts. Flavour is rye spice, big cedar wood, sap, spices, some coconut, big woody goodness. Palate is highish carbonation, semi-sweet, lingering spice. .

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, cedar, wood, peppery. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, peppery, cedar, barley wine flavor, malty. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20140503]

CBC. Clear reddish brown with a beige head. Aroam is sweet, malty, caramel and dried fruit. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. 030514

CBC Session 3. Almost clear dark amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and semi dry. Light fine carbonation. A strong medicinal flavour dominates. Some floralness and a little rye spice. Light crystallised fruits. Light dry finish. Weird.

From tap. Pours clear and golden amber with a small tan head. Spiced and dense malty. Light soapy. Bitter, herbal and slight metallic. Dry and herbal into the finish.
