330ml bottle pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is sweet molasses roast malts and some bourbon barrel. Taste is more of the molasses chocolate some bourbon barrel.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Junction - big thanks to Tippy. Pours clear black-brown with a foamy, tan head. Medium sweet flavour with moderate roast, lightly burnt dark malts, burnt cinnamon, earth, cocoa, raisins, a nip of licorice. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, a little roasty, some dark fruits, leather and earth. Sound.

CBJ Tasting.Thanks to Tips. Smooth and semi dry dark malts, a good creamy malt sweetness. Spicy barrel aged goodness. Light and semi dry finish. Tasty!

Bottle split at the ‘rar’ date tasting in CBJ, thanks to Tips, 29/02/2024.
Lighter shade of black topped with a tan cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is roast malts, biscuit, dried fruit esters, burnt toffee, modest bourbon.
Taste comprises roast malts, spice, dates, chocolate, molasses, mellow barrel.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of booze,
