Bottle. A dense, off-white head sits on top of an almost clear golden body. Citrusy, piney aroma with some citrus peel. Light bread maltyness too. The flavor has a nice blend of bitterness and sweetness, but it’s too bready and malty. Pine cones, orange peel and some pink grapefruit. Full to medium body, pleasant carbonation. A bit short finish. Well, it’s a quite decent one, but it lacks a bit all the way. 140418

Bottle, 8.4% Hazy amber with medium tan head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, little caramel and grapefruit. Flavour is malt, fruit,hops, caramel, medium sweet, citrus, grapefruit, pine and bitter.

Bottle at home, thanks to JF, 29/03/14. Hazed orange amber with a well appointed off white covering. Nose is grapefruit, mango, juicy hops, mandarin, sweet notes. Taste comprises, juicy hops, orange pith, light mineral bite, mango, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness and sweet notes in the finale. Solid IPA.

Bottle from BarleyWine, Copenhagen - fuzzy amber to golden pour with good medium persistent head. Fruity ctirus hoppy aroma and taste, plenty of mandarin, lemon, pine, caramel malty, great bitter finish. Gorgeous.

Hazy deep amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy with fine minerally carbonation. Airy light malt, dry, with touches of cream and toffee. Hops start with mildly tangy citrus, tangerine and grapefruit. Some pretty bitter pine and floralness develops. Finishes crisp and dry with a little juicy tangy ripe orange, strong bitter linger. Bitter bastard!

On tap @ Kick. Unclear orange body with a nice, creamy and lacing off-white head. Medium strong aroma of citric fruit like peaches, apricot and a hint of mango. Flavor is nice and citric fruity with decent malt, some resin, orange zest and decent bitterness. Medium body and smooth fruity and bitter aftertastes with some additionally oranges towards the end. A nice and balanced IPA, nothing spectacular, but well-made and probably the best Stronzo I have tasted so far.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a neat, lacing white head. Initially very fresh and citrusy hops in the nose - then a little greasiness sets in. Medium body, a sweet fruitiness, loads of tropical hop accents and a solid hop kick. Not bad at all. 270214
