This mid-weight coppery hued beer is a modern pale ale based on Columbus hops and brewed with amber and roast barley. These strike a delicious balance between honeyed orange citrus fruits and malt to create a great depth of flavour.

Cask @ EBF17 2014, 17th Egham Beer Festival, Egham United Services Club (EUSC), 111 Spring Rise, Egham, Surrey, England TW20 9PE. [ As Brightside Our Town ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, hay, grain notes, light to moderate hoppy, grass, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, hay - straw, fruity, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140417]

Hazy gold beer, small white head. Smooth palate, semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Mild pale malts, touch dusty. Somewhat insipid orangey hops. Dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Too dry and dusty.
