Bottle left in the back of the fridge by co-worker unknown. Best by Oct '22. Half straight from the bottle, half from a pint glass. Perfectly clear, pale, active. Smell is sweet & grainy & no where near as bold as regular Heineken. Taste is muted, unexpectedly salty, lightly sweet, with a lingering backdrop of pennies & spring water. Carbonation is fizzy but not super strong. I feel like I drank a thin, watered down beer, mostly. Pretty bland.

Can on BA0502 from LHR to LIS, 23/03/22. Clear golden with a good sized lasting white cap, carbonation evident. Nose is grains, cereals, herb, papery notes, light aspartamic tones. Taste comprises pale malts, cereals, grains, straw, more papery tones, artificial sugars. Light in body, fine to spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Passable AF number.

Bottle at Scandic Landvetter. Golden with a large white head. Sweet and watery with wort, metal and some soap. Not a pleasant one.

Cans and bottles quite frequently (a go-to). Clear, light honey with a quickly fizzling, white head. Nose shows light yeast notes (mineral, acidity) with a healthy and very noticeable dose of noble hopping to get the tell-tale Heineken character. Smells fine. I have no problem with the aroma and flavor of Heineken, for what it is. Similar flavors to the nose, with a tangy, zesty, spicy and herbal character with nicely attenuated malts that still leave a light, but reasonable impression. Cracker and just the barest hint of honey. Very carbonated. Clean, with a hint of celery or black pepper on the very end, perhaps.

12 oz can that was left at my house by someone else, 1/11/22. Clear gold, white head. Aroma of dirty animal, moldy bread, and apple juice. Just a weird aroma. The taste is a little better. Thin and watery, but not off, so I guess that's an improvement. Lightly sweet, minimally bitter. Hard to get past that awful aroma. I think if I was offered one of these in the future I'd just go for a glass of water instead. Glad it was free at least.

Barley malt and grass aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Lightly sweet barley malt and mildly bitter grass flavor. Light body. Very nice for a NA.

Can. Clear golden body with a white head that holds well. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of corn flakes and lemon. Flavour of sweet grain and minerals. Thin body with a watery texture. Weak fizz. A bit limp but it’s a passable non alcohol lager.
