(Draft at 't Ij De Molen, Amsterdam, 21 Feb 2025) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with wheat, citrus, banana and peaches. Fruity, wheaty taste with notes of citrus, banana, peaches, white bread and clove. Low bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and well balanced. Nice one.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a tumbler. Spicy nose. Hazy pale golden colour, tall frothy white head, slowly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma yeast, coriander, lemon peel, banana, cloves; Retronasal banana. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, banana, some lemon, banana, coriander, cloves, bit peppery notes. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, spicy sweetbitter aftertaste, spicy and yeasty till the end, nice.

0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', best before October 2025. Hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, quite spicy, gently fruity-floral and moderately yeasty aroma of lots of coriander, orange peel, vanilla and banana. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, quite spicy, gently yeasty and moderately fruity-floral taste of banana, vanilla, coriander, orange peel and traces of clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, very smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Witbier with a pleasant mouthfeel but also a tad too much coriander. The same result could have been achieved with less alcohol though.
