Cask at Hole in the Wall, Darlington. Amber colour, foamy off white head and yeasty, malty aroma. Taste is malty with fruity, yeasty and earthy bitter notes. Creamy mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, tangy earthy bitter finish. OK.

Cask (handpump) @ Smithfield Hotel, 37 Swan St, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M4 5JZ.ABV: 3.8%. Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, pale malt, keller, light yeasty, UK yeast, rotten egg. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130126]

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green, 15/12/13. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is biscuit malt, toffee apple, fruit waft. Taste comprises orchard fruit, caramel, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finale. Adequate bitter.
