Tap at the brewery taproom Richmond Virginia. A opaque black coloured pour with a lasting halo of tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, maple drinking chocolate cookie chip. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty praline, coco, hazelnut, cookie dough. Palate is semi sweet, dark chocolate bitter, mellow carbonation.

12 ounce bottle thanks to hershiser2! What. The. Fuck. Pours black, but a big knot of sludge plugged up the bottle early in the pouring, Gross. Large frothy brown head, good retention. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, peanut butter. Taste is cherries, roast, chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow. Tastes good, I guess, but gross.

A lot more sweet smore vibe here but isn't necessarily a better beer than the original. Vanilla, aged coconut, lots of chocolate and roast. Pours oily black with mocha head. Bittersweet finish, and not too much sweetness. Bottle.

12 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Black with tan head and lots of chunky sediment bits. Aromas of dark chocolate, graham cracker, roast. Tastes of dark chocolate, spice, graham cracker. Full body with a dry finish. Tasty, a bit overly rich. Sediment was a bit off putting.

$4.60 bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours nearly black with a brown head. Aroma is immediate graham cracker and chocolate, behind that is vanilla, roasted coffee beans. Flavor is thick sweet chocolate, graham cracker, marshmallow, vanilla, roasted coffee beans, coffee grounds. Holy cow did they ratchet up the chocolate - that's intense. Ends quite sweet.
