Bottle, backlog April 2014. Deep golden body under a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt and dry fruit. Taste is sweet and mostly malty with some dry fruit. Fine body, same sweet malty aftertaste. Sweet and malty with some alcohol, really not much else going one here but drinkable as a malty sipper.

Bottle shared at Leightons place, 29/12/2016. Many thanks to Daniel for this one. Hazed reddy amber coloured pour with a a sticky white head. Aroma is cola cubes, berry fruits, brown sugars. . Flavour is composed of stale grains, brown bread, brown sugars, oxidised, jammy fruits, burnt toffee. Palate is medium sweet, dusty, woody tannin. Nit bad.

Bottle from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Pours a cloudy chestnut brown with a very small off white head. Aroma of toffee, molasses, chocolate and dark fruit. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, touch of sour. Medium to full body, texture oily, low carbonation. Finish is dry, quite sweet and fruity. It’s pretty decent.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, reddish, dark amber colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, well lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty aroma, toffee notes, hints of mandarine and orange. Taste is dry, papery, oaky, minimally tart and bitter, hints of marmalade, orange zest, rather unseizable caramel malty background with cautious touch of toffee and nuts. Relatively light, well hidden alcohol. A tad loveless for an Anniversary Ale - no regret about limited availability.
