Bottle at The Peppermill Bistro, Conwy. Aroma is sweet with a sour edge. Malty. Citrusy. Slightly metallic edge also. Clear amber. Foamy slighly white head. Sweet. Citrus. Malts. Slightly saccharine. Metallic edge. Develops a peppery tease. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Decent lager.

Can at home courtesy of a neighbour. After getting drenched in an early morning dog walk, this was enjoyed in the sun late afternoon while trying once again to get into Dune Messiah. I read it many years ago and forgot how much dear old Drank Herbert goes on. A lager with something about it that I thoroughly enjoyed with real flavour and body. All round good.
