A strong golden bitter showcasing the Citra hop, although it’s not single hop. Crisp and refreshing, there’s lots of typical tropical fruit flavour and aroma from the Citra, but the beer has plenty of body with good juicy malt character. Very flavoursome with a long satisfying finish that dries out.

Bottle from Hop Kettle online shop, I think? Appearance - deep golden with a proportionate white head. Nose - lemon, biscuit, light cararmel and grapefruit pith. Taste - citrus pith and zest. The caramel and biscuit are a little more pronounced so not as dry as the nose implies. Palate - light bodied, light hop and malt bitterness. Could be a little more bitter, mind. Overall - decent example of the style.

Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2014. Clear gold lasting white head. Piney and Grapefruit aroma bit of pepper and tangerine aroma. Bit of bleach to be honest. Surprisingly hoppy though.

Gravity cask at The Rake, London, during the Cornish Beer Festival. Very clean character overall. Pours clear gold with a white, foamy head. Good balance, perhaps a touch on the sweet side. Notes of wood, light pine. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky finish, mild wood and grass, some grapefruit. Good stuff.
