Almost two years in beautiful dark rum barrels has given this sumptuous imperial stout layers of sticky Medjool dates, sweet molasses and miso caramel. A healthy dose of freshly roasted espresso coffee beans melds with the mellow, aromatic notes of vanilla and spiced demerara sugar and leads to a lingering, boozy crème brulée finish.

Opaque dark brown black beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, airy and a little soft, blossoming fine carbonation. Nice palate. Soft but rich dark malts with a wonderful rich soft earthy coffee and cappuccino. Soft rum barrel, fruity and spicy and it goes really well with the coffee. Smooth finish. Lovely coffee here.

Tap at the brewery taproom Manchester. A opaque black brown coloured pour with a a lasting dark tan head. Aroma is lovely huge coffee, woody roast, rich dark chocolate, chocolate licwuore.. Flavour is composed of super rich coffee and walnut cake, chocolate warming alcohol, dried fruits. Palate is smooth, velvety, airy carbonation. Really nice.
