Can from Sainsbury's, Wycombe - surprisingly the first I've rated in this style. Pale amber with a faint haze and a small white head. Lovely smell of papaya, peach and mango. Flavour is much more muted, still tropical notes with a hint of pine. Might be a pleasant creamy mouthfeel if it wasn't for the fact it's a bit too fizzy. Promised much, delivered less but still pleasant enough.

Crowler from Dogtap. It pours a lot clearer and darker than the base beer... clearish copper - brown with a decent, fluffy white head. The aroma is earthy, woody, tangy orange marmalade, apricot, peach, nectarine, orange sherbet, candy, Irn Bru bar, dull vanilla, brioche and panettone. The taste is dry, bitter woody, sweet, juicy, ripe apricot, nectarine, peach, persimmon, mango salsa, definite Irn Bru character, tinned fruit cocktail, girders, touch of alcohol, green, weedy vibes and gummy bears. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Quite unique. Works well somehow. Been a while since I've had a decent experimental beer from BD. More of this kind of thing please.
