[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading] Light amber with a small white head and a moderate sparkle. Grape domintes. Really lots of green grape. Really, lots of green grape. Ang grape juice. Very distinctive, almost un-beerlike. Might be one to tempt white wine drinkers away from their usual tipple. There’s a light bitterness and grape skins in the finish. Possibly a little on the thin side, but very drinkable and different. Just needs a bit more body/strength, and a slightly higher level of hopping.

Cask at the moon under water JDW watford. Pale golden persistent white head slight haze. Cif lemon aroma some zest. Flavour is hop forward more lemon, some tart blackberry. Finish is a little veg broth which completely ruins the effect. Decent beer. I get the feeling that pacific gem is a better bittering hop.

On cask at The Barton Turns, pours a clear faded blonde with a small white head. Aroma of bready malts, citrus, and some pine hops. Flavour brings out notes of piney hops, bready malts, and cereal. Quite flavourful and American styled. Very smooth and refreshing. Decent stuff.

Cask @ Standing Order, Edinburgh [090413]
Light pale golden, clear, thin white head
Aroma - perfumy floral hops, light sweet pale malt background, soft light herbal notes, good aroma
Taste of soft floral hops, flowery flavour, slight aromatic, light fruits, gentle floral, light pale delicate sweet pale malts, some soft grass coming through, bit earthy note, I like this
Palate Light thinnish body, soft light oily texture. Finish - floral slightly aromatic hops with a hint of grassy hop
Overall - This is the best Marston’s beer I’ve had - but it’s actually a Bank’s - anyway, it was surprisingly good as I expected it to just be very average

One third pint glass, cask at The Flying Horse (JDW). Clear golden body, filmy head, fragile lacing. Floral hops to the nose, rather dry. Fresh citrus fruits in flavour followed by herbal hops and a rounded bitter ending. Thin to medium bodied. Pretty average for the style (Gatwick Airport, 10.04.2013).

Cask at The Moon under Water on Leicester Square. Pours gold with a white head. Nose has lots of fruit - including berry. Med body, almost. Flavor is berry/fruity/floral with very light caramel. Finishes bitter with a lot of berry. Tho nothing like berry amped brews. It is an extremely pleasing drink.
