Keg at Cronx Bar, Croydon. It pours deep brown with a thick, sturdy light tan head. The aroma is sweet, oily, toasted nut, pecan pie, toffee, brown bread and fruit cake. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, rather nutty, vanilla, marzipan, almond biscotti, oily, earth and some fruit cake with a sweetish finish. Medium body and fairly high foamy carbonation. Was worried this would be too sweet, but balance is actually quite nice. Novel.
