Pours straw with a large, lasting head.Nose shows typical saison earthy and spicy characters along with some doughy wheat, lemon and spicy and herbal hops. Also a bold perfume-like character. Nicely done.Sweet light malt first up as a flavour, followed by spicy notes, lemon zest and herbal, grassy hops. Finishes gently while remaining dry and refreshing.Could use more carbonation.

Growler, 10C. Hazy gold with a white head that lasts pretty well. Very grapefruity and floral aroma with light dough, a little honey, and pepper. Lowish carbonation, light bodied. Very light sweetness, honeydew melon and a very little dough, a little funkiness that’s hard to distinguish from the grapefruit. Finish is dry and mildly bitter but not very spicy. Refreshing with some intrigue. A little less citrus and more spice would have hit the spot for me, but this is good stuff that treads the elegant/ rustic line well.
