Bière dégustée hier soir, une stout d’un noir profond, presque opaque, avec une fine mousse brun café qui s’estompe doucement pour ne laisser qu’un léger voile. Au nez, un bouquet dense mêlant chocolat noir, bois humide et une pointe surprenante de sauce soja qui apporte une touche umami. L’attaque est marquée par le malt torréfié, puis viennent des notes de cacao amer, un retour boisé et cette nuance saline-soyeuse de sauce soja qui complexifie l’ensemble. La finale dévoile un peu d’alcool, bien intégré, jamais brûlant. Belle harmonie générale, équilibre maîtrisé : une stout travaillée, riche et très bien exécutée.

Canned 440ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb, shared with Hrabren. Pitch black coloured, small brown head, chocolate, wood and soy sauce in the nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, wood, soy sauce and some alcohol in the finish. Balanced and well done.

0.44 l can shared with Ogi at Ambasada, Zagreb. Oily black. Intense soy sauce, brown bread, toasty and hints of blueberry and raspberry. Flavour is burnt, roasty, chocolate, dried fruit, figs, dark fruit. Sticky, smooth, sweet, roasty, tart. Good balance. Full body, slightly sweet finish.
