Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, light brown with a staunch, frothy light khaki head. The nose holds earthy hops, leaves, faint cocoa. Lightly sweet flavour with nips of metal, brown bread, toasted leaves, dried berries. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Finishes with more leafy hops, watery malts, toasted grains, light tangy and leathery berries, some earthy bitterness. Not the best.

Keg at The Brewery. It pours hazy deep brown with a thick beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, earthy roast, orange peel, toasty pine, cola, dried fruits and toasted brown sugars. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, orange peel, zesty, pine needles, earthy roast, cacao and black tea with a drying finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. Rather flavoursome for the abv. Nice stuff.
