Canned. Reddish brown pour moderate head. Some caramel and toffee. OK ale but not too exciting.

Can. Medium Amber in color with an off white head. Aroma was hints of molasses, grains. Taste was malty sweetness upfront with a slightly bitter finish.

Thanks Willie.
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a moderately burnt amber color with a finger’s worth of sturdy white head. Must have held there for a good minute before dissipating to leave some light stringy lace.
The aroma had some toast, nice caramel/toffee malt features, some dried sweet wood, touch of floral, light herbal and a little bit of leather.
The flavor was malty dry with a crisp floral sweetness making a good effort to invade. Aftertaste was moderately leaning towards the toast and caramel malts. Finish was crisp and semi-sweet with the dryness.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Flowed fairly nice along my tongue.
Overall, pretty nice as an Irish red ale. I wonder if that guy below me knows enough that this style is supposed to be poured into mugs for correct reviews.

Draught. Clear copper red with large beige faoamy head, faint caramel aroma, low carbonation, sweetish caramel taste, thin body, long sticky sweet caramel finish. A bit too sweet for my taste.

Can during RBWG Booze Buse 20/02/15, from the Booze Buse fridge. Reddish amber with a decent beige cap. Nose is biscuit, toffee, dark fruit essence. Taste comprises caramel, biscuit, toffee, light spice, touch of fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet malt and light hop bitterness in the close. Ok for style.

Tap at draught 55 another lowly rated style I procured today. Reddish Amber pour small head. Nose is toasted malt and red fruits. Tastes of toasted malt, caramel, cherry, earthy bitters, fallen leaves. Bitter finish.

Can shared during RBWG 2015 - Tampa. Pours clear, amber-gold with a foamy off-white head. The nose is grainy toast and orange rind. Light to medium sweet flavor with leafy hops, faint chocolate, bitter earth. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Fairly sugary on the finish with notes of toasted grains, filter coffee and oranges. OK.

Can Clear Reddish amber with an off-white head. Dusty malt aroma, a little hops. The flavor is lightly sweet. Not much going on here really.

Location: 12 oz can from Syosset Beverage, 11/5/14

Aroma: The nose is heavy sweet/caramel, with some underlying earthy notes as well
Appearance: This one pours a clear orange-brown color with a sheeting beige head and mid lace
Flavor: Heavy sweet taste as well, fairly one-dimensional caramel, light roast and light bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, leaning light, with a cloying feel, and an off finish on the mouth
Overall Impression: Nope, this can't have been what they were going for. This thing just gets way too cloying for anyone's good. Next time, remind me to pass...
