GBBF Day 1. Cask. Almost opaque amber - brown beer, thin pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts, tangy dark fruits. Mild skunk. Tangy finish. Okay.

From cask. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, breadish and slight liqourice note. Bitter, dark malty, roasted and crisp hoppy. Bitter and smooth hops fruity finish. Roasted too.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2015 day 1. Charcoal brown coloured pour with a halo of light tan head. Aroma is solvent and vinegar, malt vinegar and nutty malts. Flavour is composed of mild nutty malts, light woodland berry tang, wood, mild infection. Palate is light and watery. Low carbonation. Pretty shoddy.

Cask @ EBF14 2013, 14th Egham Beer Festival, Egham United Services Club (EUSC), 111 Spring Rise, Egham, Surrey, England TW20 9PE.Clear dark black brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, coffee, strong coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, coffee, sweet malt, malt bitter, ash notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. cask at some london festival in a very nice building ... dark brown ... thin tan head ... soft roast malt nose ... dark fruits ... soft toffee ... light licorice ... little blackcurrant ... soft fruits ...

Cask/GD at the 14th Egham Beer Festival at the EUSC, 28/03/13. Light black with a thin tan head that clears to the edge and leaves some spotting. Nose is roast malt, light Germaline, dark fruits, toffee. Taste comprises dark fruits, licqourice, treacle toffee. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry in the finish. Ok stuff.
