Cask at GBBF. It pours hazy deep brown with a small beige head. The aroma is earthy, toasty, ashy, cacao nibs, chocolate and wood. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, wood, ash, leather, tannin, cacao nib, dark fruit and black tea with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A bit drying and tannin. Drinks OK anyhow.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Gryphon, Bristol 2/9/2016. Near black in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweetish stout, with a touch of berry fruits, liquorice and roasted malts, leading to a moderately dry finish. Good.

Cask at GBBF 2015, day 1 - London. Pours clear brown with a creamy tan head. The nose holds tangy dark malts, dark fruits, faint chocolate. Light sweet flavor with more tangy dark fruits, berries, raisins. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet on the finish, with notes of old leather and more tangy, dark fruits. So so.
