The draft beer at the hotel we were staying at in Kalamki, Zakynthos, and the most frequently seen beer across all the bars in the resort - sampled many times over the short break!

First try was after checking in at Aeolos Resort: clear and golden with a frothy white head, soft cereal/grassy aroma, sweet grassy malt with some hop bitterness and a dry finish. Very refresing in the sunshine, just enough flavour to keep you interested.

From a can, very light, even for what it is. Impressive white head that fades quickly. Soft palate, malt, and lightly sweet. Even for a pale Euro lager this is very light.

Bottle. Really just an average beer. Nothing special. Golden color. Not a bad. Must of been fresh because it was not skunky. Aroma was weak but balanced. Taste was weak but actually refreshing.

Bottled and cans and on tap @ Greece (the imported one doesn’t have the same taste). Quite a nice industrial lager with a decent bitter taste. Light bodied, easily drinkable. Above average.

nex tto no aroma, flavour is corny, and grassy sweet. blach, this is bad, drain pour.

Bottiglia. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera tenue e la maniera in cui permane è sfuggente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è snello e acquoso. L'amaro è moderato. La forza gustativa è normale, con persistenza sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il retrogusto è delicato. Sul tetto della bocca si percepiscono indizi di cereali.

Pours a clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma of grass, hay, some faint hops. Typical euro lager, watery and dull. *** Revisit 2023, not as bad as I remember. Pretty drinkable Lager actually.

Can 0,33ltr: Clear golden colored brew with an well balanced dry bitter taste. Very nice big Lager from Greece.
