Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival at KEGS. Cask. Clear deep amber beer, bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and finely crisp. Pretty good condition. Thin dark malts, but with good flavour, some roasty bitterness. Dark fruits and floral bitterness. Trace of esters. Fairly roasty bitter finish. Thin bodied but robustly flavoured.
