GABF 2013. Pours a hazy reddish brown appearance with a light brown head. Huge banana, clove, a bit burnt malty, caramel aroma. Plum, fig, dark fruity, banana, apple, chocolate, caramel flavor. A little strong and a little too much banana but ok.

Pleasant aroma. Hah, a weizen bock like erlinger. Much stronger, almost like a barley wine. Not black but pretty dark in color. Doesw not hide alky well. Difficult. Almost riggers that reflex thing happening. Difficult drink fer sure. Medicnal finish, not impressed. Yes, typical American barley wine wannah bee. Negatory big ben.

Pours cloudy dark reddish brown color with thin tan head. Aromas of banana, cloves and other spices. Dark fruit and banana flavors with cloves and candi sugar. Overly sweet and pretty boozy. Medium to full body with moderate carbonation.

A few 12oz bottles. Poured a dark cola, hazy color, off-white fluffy head. Aroma was bready, wheat notes. Plenty of dark fruits, yeast and bananas. A touch of booze is found on this one, not enough to light, but it’s there. Less boozy than previous offerings have been - which is a plus. Flavor was dark fruits, yeast notes, banana. Bready, wheat complete this one. Probably my favorite anniversary beer from Weyerbacher since Thirteen (didn’t have Seventeen so I can’t vouch for that one).

Draft at Beer Run. Pours a hazy dark rust color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of dark candi sugar, burnt sugar, banana, nuts, caramel. The taste is caramel, toffee, berries, tart fruits, booze. Medium bodied. Nice.

Rustico, Arlington tap: Pours a murky headless brown. Aroma is banana and a lot of spice, along with a little bit of booze, and cocoa. Taste is pretty much the same. Slight alcohol burn. Somewhat unbalanced. Very much a sipper. Very thick with little carbonation. Not terrible, but not exactly the most pleasant thing in the world to drink.
