Bottle - Perfumy fruit esters. Cloudy orange with a little head. Fruity esters and a misplaced bitterness, this is not that great.

First bad beer I have had from this brewer. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark copper color with a medium sized foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was yeasty, chalky and a bit vegetal with a tangy bready presence. The flavor was bitter, tangy and off with a vegetal malt presence and notes of chalk and Pez.. Medium length tangy and off vegetal finish. Moderately full bodied. Bad.

Hazy amber gold beer with a tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and slightly soft with fine carbonation. Smooth malt, with a little sweet caramel. Light spice and fruits - dried fruits. Finishes smooth. Not bad but I wanted a stronger hop presence.

Bottle from GBBF 2013 drunk at home. Orange gold hazy colour with a thick beige head. Belgian yeast and American hop aroma. It’s ok as a Belgian hoppy beer. A little lacking in character, but the flavours are solid enough. I think like all the Indigo Imp beers I’ve had, they lack body especially on the finish, a lack of fullness, they dissipate into a forced carbonated bitterness. It’s ok, I am sure a lot better fresh. OK, Belgian style ale with some American hops.
