Cask at the Nags Head, Reading. Dark copper with a thin cream head; nutty aroma of roasted malts; taste of chewy caramel malts with an immediate bitterness and some sour plums; and a dry finish.

Pigs Ear. Light haze on this amber beer. Tidy pale cream coloured head. Fine carbonation imparts a crispy and dry palate. Sweetish malt. A little minerals.Tangy orange citrus and dried fruits. Trace of lactose. Whisper of sulphur - nothing serious. Quite a dry finish. The tangy citrus elevates this above the morass.
