Come join the Westy club. It’s bitter and cold here. We’ve brewed a 130 IBU west coast IPA that should make your tongue shrivel up and your lips pucker. Bittered with stupid amounts of hops, fermented with a thermo-tolerant yeast and dry-hopped post fermentation at 20g/L with Columbus, Simcoe, Centennial and Idaho 7.

Can. A very light haze on this orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a trace of caramel in with the thin creamy sweetness. Hops bring light cooling pine, somewhat ripe citrus, marmalade, modest ripe lemon. Crisp finish. Decent but not the usual Baron wow factor.

Can at home. Deep golden colour with a white head. Nice pine resin and moderate to growing bitterness. Medium to full body.
