On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy copper with a tan head. Aroms is hoppy with some roasted malt notes. Taste is pretty the same. Not bad.

On tap. Pours a murky brown with light head. Aromas of lemon wax and phenols. Flavors of flat tinny cola, and yeasty phenols, with quite a sharp vegetal/herbal note. Messy

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out a strange marzipan quality, with very strange Coca Cola notes. Flavour isn't as cola like, with earthy yeast upfront, but then the cola definitely does hit. Utterly strange how this turned out. Not very convincing as a dark saison but it's alright.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy, even murky, brown color. The aroma is dirty, a bit dusty, stale pond water. Dry mouthfeel; dirty malts, stale, the yeast adds a mild but unpleasant vegetable component, and the fennel adds a light anise touch to aroma and flavor that personally I don’t think can improve any beer.
Mildly unpleasant.
