[Cask at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe] After last month’s superb monthly special (Decomposer), Rebellion return to their usual run-of-the-mill stuff this month. This one’s amber, with a slight white head, a pinch of fruitiness, a sprinkling of malt, a a dusty light bitterness in the finish, and a generous measure of boredom. Like so many Rebellion specials, it’s OK but dull. Yawn. c6

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Amber aith a thin white head; toffee aroma; dry treacly malt flavour; with a dry hoppy finish. A bit different to the usual Rebellion monthly offerings.
