Bottle @ Aarhus beer festival, Tubinehallen. Pours clear dark brown with a small offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, wood, vanilla, sweet dried fruit, little bourbon? Flavor is sweet, strangely bitter, malty, caramel, wet wood, oak, dried fruit, alcohol. Medium body, soft carbonation, sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Maybe served to warm. 230319

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Clear dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dark fruit, wood and alcohol. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with lots of alcohol. 230319

Red colour, almost no head. Aroma is intensive raisin, citrus hops, plus honey and cranberry. Alcohol well hidden. Heavy bitterness, medium sweetness. Sticky texture, soft carbonation.

(Draught at Uiltje Craft Beer Bar, Haarlem, 23 Aug 2018) Dark reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, red fruit and almonds. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, dried fruit, cranberries, almonds, oak wood and a bitter-sweet finish with a generous spicy bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Quite complex and powerful, but really tasty. Very nice.

Bottle picked up from Het Uiltje Taproo, Haarle, Netherlands and consumed at home Saturday 29th December 2018 whilst cookin Bay and Lemon Baked Cod with Paprika, Potatoes. We're now listening Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on 6 Music. Wow this is a beast of a beer, but it does not drink like a 15% beer, it's very easy drinking. Pours hazy reddy/brown with an off white head. Really hoppy but with a huge malty underbelly. Sweet but regardless of the sweetness it is very, very moreish and the oak and amaretto also throw their hats into the ring. Lovely beer. A8 A4 T9 P4 Ov16 4.1

[ As Uiltje / Alvinne Cuvee du Owl ].Unclear medium to dark brown - red amber colour with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, chocolate, caramelized malt, light wood - oak. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, caramelized malt, chocolate, dusty, caramel, oak, candy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
