Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with minimal almost white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma – just vague hints of floral hops and malts. In the mouth it starts off sweet but with a little underling bitterness, which increases rapidly to dominate. Increasing sharpness too after a while. Flavours have floral hops, citrus, gooseberry and grapefruit. Finish is decidedly dry and somewhat sticky. This is reasonable but has been marked down due to the horrible taste it left in my mouth !

Blonde, clear, white head. Light citrus in aroma and taste. Bit of hop, a slightly flowery air. Not much to it but decent.

Cask at The Hop, Leeds, Friday 13th November 2015. Light gold with a sticky white head. Crisp and refreshing bitterness, really nice crunchy citrus and pithy bitter bite. A little dry, mmhhh... I like this, it’s in great condition, great beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Huddersfield Beer Festival. Blonde and hoppy with a small head. It’s very dry tasting in the palate with a pale ale texture. Its fruits are most evident in its nose.
