We have used American Cascade hops at three different stages in the brewing of this 4.8% ruby red ale. The hops provide a balanced fruity bitterness and slightly floral aroma which compliments the full malty background body of the beer.

Cask by handpump, shared half pint at The National Winter Ales Festival. Bright amber coloured body. Dotted spots to the glass. Floral aroma and smooth malty sweetness to the nose. Fine blended malt-fruity taste, including red oranges, followed by a satisfying bitter finish. Medium bodied. Good (Manchester, 24.01.2013).

Deep copper in colour with a small head and plenty of fruitness which isn’t overstated.
