At a tasting, thanks, smallish creamy head, aroma of chocolate and beef stock cube, a bit strange, strong savory umami flavor with some light bitter chocolate and wet wood. Not too appealing.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, little stable. Aroma: bit roasted, some coffee, charcoal. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish, very bitter, roasted, some caramel, bit hoppy. Aftertaste: more roast, little spicy, malty, dry bitterness in the end.

Zwart bier zonder schuim. Smaak is bitter met iets van bittere chocolade, karamel en een licht rooksmaak. Tevens ietwat fruit als kersen en rode bessen. Is goed maar valt mij wat tegen. Gebrouwen door brouwerij de Oirsprong en niet De 3 Horne volgens etiket.

On tap GBBF 2017. Black beer lasting tan head. tarry impy stout aroma. Beefy tarry in the mouth . Not too bad. Hides abv well. Nice enough.

8 4 8 2 17 33 cl bottle @ home. Poured in a big Mikkeller glass, but not big enough as an enormous light brown head forms on top of a pitch black beer. The recedes pretty quickly after which the rest of the bottle can be added. Aroma’s of roasted malts, chocolate, some red fruit, lactose sweetness. Retronasal it’s sweet, roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, light lactose and red fruit. Flavor is above moderate sweet, roasted. Fairly strong alcohol feel. Carbonation is on the high side, but oh well. Medium bodied. Finishes with strong roast, coffee-ish, moderate bitter. Good stuff.

Bottle, 10%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel and liquorice. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel, sweet, little liquorice, little vanilla, hop and a medium bitter.

Geproefd met Roelzie1986, Inoven en Lieke bij het Brabants Bier festival in. Het is een echte Stout met een gebrande chocolade smaak.

Bier van de tap gedronken tijdens bierfestival Oirschot. Diep donkerbruin bier met stevige schuimkraag. Aroma is fruitig en koffieachtig. Smaak van caramel, koffie en pruim. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Tap@Taphouse 3rd Year Anniversary Week, Copenhagen - pours black with a beige head. Aroma and taste is roasted malty, coffee, chocolate, caramel, hoppy backing, chocolate and vanilla coalesce into the close.
