Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear brown with a foamy, tan head. Medium sweet flavour with well toasted malts, milk cocoa, light roast, some berries. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, more toast, earth, raisins, berries, cocoa. Tasty, simple.

Can from Beerfly, Bedford. Pour deep brown towards black with a tan foam. Aroma: toasted malts, nuts, coffee, cacao, treacle. Taste: light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter. Dry on the palate. Medium body with fine carbonation. Tidy straight up stout.

Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rustic layered toasted malts, treacle, liquorice, rye, tar, singed pine. Palate is semi sweet. Oily, moderate carbonation, rounded. Moderate carbonation, good hoppy stout.

Black beer, light tan head. Smells super malty, and I'm into it. Flavour has all the malt again, a mix of toasty and sweet. A little hop, a dash of chocolate. Not loads going on but it's a super drinkable sessionable stout.
