Momotaro is our newest blended fruit beer utilizing peaches! This beer was inspired by one of my favorite beers, Peche ‘n Brett, by a brewery that is unfortunately closed, called Logsdon Farmhouse Ales located in the Hood River county in Oregon.
The blend consist of our house beer “Home” and a small portion of our Marietta foeder and then aged on peaches. We wanted the peaches and our house brett to be upfront and present while harmonizing with that delicate, rustic, funky profile of our house beer. We hope you enjoy this beer as much as we do.

Bottle.
A- Golden orange color, slightly hazy liquid, minimal white head.
A- Funk, overripe stone fruit, straw, rubber, mild manure.
F- Funk, oak, rubbery, peach skin, yeasty, hay.
T- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, funky finish.
O- A bit more funk that I anticipated. Lots of rubber notes. Smelled almost like a wet baby diaper. Good but not what I wanted from it. Wish it had more fruit notes.

Tartish, sourish and jammy with loads of peaches, hints of fruits, apricots, citrus and oaky notes. Quite complex and balanced

Weird amount of chunks but I didn't rest this either way long enough so maybe my fault, besides that gnarly good. Tons of peach funk and flavor, acidity throughout but wrapped in nice citrus and stonefruit notes. Hints of oak linger on the finish.
