Alefried Zwanze Blend 1. Draught at Tribaun, Zwanze Day 2018.
Dark red body, with a big, stable creamy, beige head.
Aroma of swiss pine, wood, citrus, some dried fruits, some leather, some honey, slight vinous notes.
Tastes pretty similar.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes smooth, wooden, moderate fruity, a bit vinous, with the swiss pine lingering.
Tasty. The pine beer is the most obvious one, while the other blended in ones giving this more depth. Very smooth and creamy to drink, with a good complexity and a great balance. Beautiful stuff, among my favourite ones from Alefried
