Hazy amber with a thin head. Bright orangey note, with light caramel. Toasty, sweet, little bit nutty. So old fashioned! Executed well but just not a beer I'm looking for in 2018.

Cask at the brewery
Amber colour, just hazy, a bit dull, with persistent head. It has delicate biscuity malt qualities and mild but interesting resinous hopping, touch of grapefruit peel and some candi sugar.

Dark amber color, small compact head. Nice aroma of fruity hips, candi sugar, sweet caramel. Caramel flavor, a bit chewy, maybe some crystal malt here, and moderately sweet; the hopping is more appreciated, it’s strong, fruity, a bit resiny.
American Strong Ale, very good beer overall, but in recent times we prefer less heavy and caramelly brews, hence this one is not easy to drink in large glasses.
