Cloudy, thin head. Dirty yeast, diacetyl and a decent malt note. But diacetyl...yeah, not my thing. --- Beer merged from original tick of Splash Summer IPA on 04 Aug 2016 at 12:42 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5. Original review text: 2017 version, 4% abv. Quite pale and hazy. The aroma is lemon and grapefruit. Low bitterness. Fruity, citrusy hops, fairly yeasty. Good beer.
5.1% Hazy blonde. Thick head. Zesty nose, pommelo and dried sage and lemon. Sweet but with dry hopping, rambutan and maybe mango...nice fruity flavours. Tastes like more than 11 IBUs but still it is fairly low in bitterness. 8-4-8-4-16 = 4.0

Tasting at SF, growler, 4% ABV
Cloudy pale blond color. Zesty aroma, a bit tropical. Dry mouthfeel, delicate crisp malt base, worls well with the piney and zesty hoping, and a bitterness crescendo in the final.
Excellent.

750mL growler, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out hazy citrus zest and biscuity malt. Flavour is very dry, with a nice biscuity malt base, citrus hops, and crackery notes. Highly crushable, smooth and balanced. Very good.

Growler - Lemon and light citrus with some light malt. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Grains and light citrus notes. Grains come through quite a bit. As it warms some dank notes dominate which makes it better.
