Originally rated June 2010. Purchased in Nashville, TN on a trip there. Pours a yellow colour with a white head that creates nice lacing and a coat over the brew. Big lime nose reminding me of Miller Chill and Bug Light Lime. Watery mouthfeel with a mild dry finish. Tiny bubble carbonation coming from one little spot in the middle of the glass. The mild lime is all I can taste as well. Filtered wheat, so hard to taste it over the citrus flavour. Looks, tastes and smells like those two lime beers mentioned, so not much here except for a decent refreshing summer outdoor brew.

Bottom from a sampler. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a thin white head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of banana, spices, a big citrus bite bordering on seeming chemical. The taste is assertive citrus with a bit of caramel and banana. Thin-medium bodied. Strong carbonation. Doesn’t taste bad per se but reminds me more of a citrus flavored club soda than a kristallweizen.

Bottle. Pours with a clear golden body with minimal head. Aroma of zima, pinsol, windex and 7up. Taste is lemon soda, wheat and light bubblegum. Kind of dry. Big, albeit sparse bubbles.

Pours like a pale lager, must be filtered. No gunk in bottle. Can’t smell lemon in the aroma but there is lots of unsweetened lemon in the taste. Borders on lemon pledge at times. Finish is likewise. I know this is filtered, but it seems a little too bitter to be a krystal weiss.

Pours clear gold into a Sam glass. Head quickly dissipates to nothing. Stale wheat malt and lemon aromas. Crisp upfront turning to a lasting lemon candy sandwich finish.
