Sampled as 'Blue Key Belgian White' from Lidl Grocery Stores. Fairly hazy golden and straw coloured body with a more bright coppered and bronze colour with a thinnish, one centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of coriander seed, light curacao and orange notes with some biscuits and more astringent, clove and light spices with more of a malty bite soon afterwards. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong spices at first with almost a cinnamon or canella flavour with some cloves and allspice and a touch of nutmeg, but not much more of anything else or any sweetness. Aftertaste shows some of the sweetness with a lot of the spices and much less of the more subdued and subtle notes that you would expect from the style, but showing character at least - just not usually attributed to a wit. Overall, a decent, but kind of off-kilter beer that shows some yeast and a bunch of spices, but still remains relatively easy-to-drink throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Lidl [Grocery Store] in Manassas, Virginia on 30-April-2018 for US$5,99/six pack given to me by my coworker - Thanks Tom, sampled in my hotel room here in Orlando, Florida on 05-May-2018.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a golden pale colored body with a one finger of white foamy head that quickly dissipates and leaves a slim film of lacing.
The smell had some apple and pear up front, lightly hopped.
The taste was pretty much the same, dry apple aftertaste, plain dry finish.
On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium, slightly sessionable, carbonation is good for the style and for me as its kinda sharp.
Overall, this is not a bad Belgian pale ale, but its nothing special.

Vestjysk Vinter Vanvid januar 2014. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of grapefruit hops, with a hint of grain. Sweetish fruity hop flavour with a faint spicy hint. Somewhat boring, but easy drinking pale ale.

Bottle, 12oz. An unclear, lighlty orangey yellow beer topped by a white head of moderate size. Pale malts, some bread and toffee in the nose, quite low on citrus and coriander. The flavor goes in the same direction, only with some bitterness added. Medium body, quite heavily carbonated. Bitterness and some orange peel in the end, along with the bready, almost toffee-ish notes known from the aroma and initial flavor. Sure drinkable, and quite refreshing, but not my kind of witbier. 130701
