Originally brewed as "Bruiloft Blond" (wedding blonde) to celebrate the marriage of the brewer this beer was a straight summery success. With our Blonde d'été you automatically descend far down into southern France, where the summers are sunny and hot. At the foot of the Pyrenees, the picturesque town of Aramits is hidden. A village that not only gave its name to one of the heroic musketeers, but also to the just as valiant Aramis hops. We brew our Blonde d'été exclusively with this French hop. Her naturally delicate aromas are further complemented with the addition of coriander and lemongrass. Together they produce the sultry mixture of a fresh bouquet and a slightly peppered temperament.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly grainy and strawy, pale malty, minimally citrusy, hoppy aroma, a touch of lemon, herbal-spicy yeasty overtones. Taste is slightly grainy, strawy, biscuity pale malty and slightly citrusy fruity hoppy, hints of lemon, lemon balm, a minimally soapy touch. Slightly oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally dry palate, average, slightly prickly carbonation. Not much Belgian character here, the fruitiness stems mainly from the hops. Not so bad...
