Cask at Calverts Court, Stockport. Pours golden amber with a small off-white head and good lacing. There’s malts and stone fruits in the aroma. In the mouth it is quite sweet with malts and hints of floral hops, plus honey and chestnuts with medium carbonation. Some bitterness comes through later and lasts into the finish. This is decent enough.

Cask @ Paramount, Manchester. Dirty-blonde with a head. It's very light textured for its strength, and is an easy-drinking hoppy ale.

On tap somwhere! Clear gold beer. A bit of sulphur on the nose. Smooth palate, a little dry. Some light smoky malt. Tiny whisper of hop comes through in the finish. Passable apart from the sulphur nose.
