A low alcohol, light, refreshing, effervescent, zippy and tart wheat ale which shines even brighter with the addition of fruit or herbs. Traditionally either raspberry or woodruff is used in Germany but we thought we would up the ante by using apricots for our beers. It is our intention to brew further variations of Blitz using different fruits over the next few months.

hazy golden color. Sour apricot nose. Intensely sour apricot mouth but the real apricots make this really smooth and have a good flavor. Intense wonderful stuff.

Keg at the London Craft Beer Festival. Pours cloudy orange with a foamy white head. Excellent stuff. Lots of zesty fruits, apricot, citrus, moderate sweetness, assertive but balanced sour bite. Light bodied with average carbonation. Very clean and refreshing to finish with further tangy fruits. Just awesome. Extremely drinkable.

(Draught at BrewDog Camden, London, 20 Nov 2013) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with note of apricots, citrus and grainy malt. Fruity, tart taste with citrus, grapefruit and apricots. Light body, dry, with hardly any bitterness. Quite refreshing and drinkable, but on the thin side. Nice one.
