The beer is gloriously golden in colour, and is clean, crisp and refreshing. A pleasing aroma of traditional, noble hops is paired with a subtly sweet malt base, all balanced by a thirst-quenching bitterness.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery taproom, Bermondsey. Pours clear honey-gold with a small, creamy white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of sun-kissed biscuity malts, nips of honey and caramel, bread, soft bitter hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean finish, nice rounded malty sweetness, moreish bitter dirty hay. This beer started well and got better. Impressive.

On tap at The Rake, Borough Market. Clear gold pour with a white head. Aromas of baked apple, banana, touch of grapefruit. Taste is spiced apple, banana, bitter citrusy edge. Spicy bittersweet finish.
