Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2013, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, malt, light to moderate hoppy, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, malty, caramel, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130813]

Cask at GBBF ’13, 15/08/13. Lightly hazed dark golden/amber with a thin off white head. Good looking affair! Nose is fruits, bready malts, light toffee. Taste comprises light orange notes, floral tones, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitterness in the fninsh. Ok stuff.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear copper colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of malt and some slightly funky stewed fruit. Flavour has some bread and cooked apples, light amounts of floral hops. Ends with very little, just some light biscuity malt.

Cask at gbbf 2013. Cheers Colin. Clear copper coloured pour. Medium off white head. Nutty malt. Slightly oxidised. Flavour is stale malt slight tart apple. Watery palate.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma is roasted malty and light nutty. Sweet, toasted malty and light breadish. Subdued fruity. Toasted malty, breadish and medium dry finish.

Ruby red ale, not as strong as the label might suggest, but very fruity with some sweet garden berries. Has a nice creamy head to it too.

Cask@St. Radegund, Cambridge. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, raisins, some fruits and mild wooden notes. Flavour is very much wood, slight ourness, fruits ,herbs and some mild sap. Quite pleasant bitter finish.

[i]Cask at the Babbington Arms, JDW, Derby 08-09-07 [/i] Amber in colour with small white head, not as bitter tasting or even as strong as I’d expected, a fruity and malty average beer.
