Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival in KEGS! Opaque very dark brown beer. Decent bubbly tan head. Palate is softish and smooth. Sweet stout! Sweet vanilla ice cream with tangy dark chocolate. Underneath is sweet generic dark fruits. Finishes smooth with slightly spicy chocolate liqueur. A real sumptuous desert beer treat. Thank you Chelmsford Camra for 3rd pint measures as this was enough when I wanted to move on to other things. On a different occasion would have been happy to nurse a pint of this. Was very amusing to see a couple of people buy pints of this without trying first and then you could see on thier faces - oh oh!
