Dark and sweet with chocolate, coffee and vanilla notes. Brewed with a Brazilian coffee bean, selected and roasted by Pumphreys of Newcastle to complement and enhance these flavours. 100% pure cocoa powder, lactose and whole vanilla pods are used in this luxurious stout.

Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear, dark brown with a fine, tan cream head. The aroma has milk chocolate, light roast. Medium sweet flavor with more milk chocolate, slight earthy bitterness, toasty bread, lasting sweet chocolate character. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Somewhat sticky sweet on the finish with more sugary milk chocolate, mellow roast, very light minerality, lots of rich, sweet cocoa. Very tasty.

On keg at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - opaque black with a thin head. Nose - coffee and milk chocolate. Taste - more sweet chocolate and coffee notes. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly balanced finish. Overall - I don’t usually prefer to have a stout/porter chilled nor on keg. However, the coffee dimension is kept in check with the additional carbonation and chill.

Bottle from Cornelius. Black body with a medium tan head that slowly fades. Great lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate (the kind found in advent calendars), coffee and vanilla. Flavour of Coco Pops dust, vanilla ice-cream, flat Coca-Cola and sweet chocolate. Medium body with a frothy texture. Very faint carbonation prickle. An interesting, mellow Sweet Stout.
